In Chapters G and H, we will continue to look at different families of numbers and re-visit a lot of our Algebraic topics through the context of these new number families. Before that, though, we need to examine the way certain numbers relate to other numbers, fit into other numbers, can be changed into other numbers, and more. This field of study is called “Number Theory”. This basic study of Number Theory will help us be more efficient and effective with our new families of numbers in the next two chapters.
